The Research Center for Biomedical Engineering – CREB of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia - UPC is a multidisciplinary research center specifically designed to meet the demand for R & D in the field of biomedical engineering . The CREB consists of a team of 80 highly qualified professionals with extensive experience.
The main objective of CREB is to provide solutions to the needs of technology and training in clinical and industrial facilities, in the field of biomedical engineering .
CREB was founded in 1992 as an interdepartmental agreement with the specific aim to coordinate efforts and optimize resources belonging to different research groups to carry out projects in the field of Biomedical Engineering at UPC . In 1997 he became a Specific Research Center .
